Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of AI Parodist (aiparodist.com), including the caricature studio, Motion Studio, gallery and any related features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

One person may not operate multiple accounts to obtain extra free credits.

3. Credits, plans and payments

Creating work uses credits: currently 10 credits per image and 25 credits per 8-second video. New accounts receive 100 free credits. Credits are deducted when a generation starts. If a generation fails because of a technical fault on our side, contact us and we will review restoring the credits used.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not refundable except where required by law. Plan prices, credit amounts and costs per generation may change; we will show current prices before you buy.

Checkout is currently in test mode. No real payment is taken and test purchases are limited per day. Test credits may be adjusted or removed when paid plans launch.

4. Acceptable use

AI Parodist exists for satire, caricature and editorial commentary. Work must be clearly stylised and must not be presented as a real photograph or real footage of an actual event.

You must not use the Service to create or share: sexual or nude imagery of real people; any sexual content involving minors; content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence or hatred against anyone; deceptive material intended to mislead people about real events, elections or public health; impersonation for fraud; or material that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.

Only upload reference photos you have the right to use. Don't try to bypass safety filters, rate limits or credit controls, or to reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the Service. We may refuse, remove or block any request or work that we reasonably believe breaks these rules.

5. Your work and ownership

As between you and us, you own the prompts, references and finished works you create, to the extent the law allows. AI-generated output may not be protected by copyright in some countries, and similar results may be generated for other users.

You give us a limited licence to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the Service. If you make a work public, you also allow us to show it in the public gallery and to promote AI Parodist until you make it private or delete it.

The AI Parodist name, logo, design and software belong to us and may not be used without permission.

6. Satire and public figures

Parody of public figures is a long tradition, but you are responsible for how you use and publish your work. Laws on defamation, likeness rights and parody differ between countries. Label satire clearly when sharing it and never use it to deceive.

7. Availability and changes

Generative AI is unpredictable. We don't guarantee a particular result, uninterrupted availability, or that every request will succeed. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We may update these Terms, and continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept it; we will highlight significant changes on the site.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your works at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put the Service or other people at risk. Unused credits on accounts closed for breach are forfeited.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for how you or others use generated content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses arising from content you create or share in breach of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and the courts of Jamaica have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law requires otherwise.
